Day 4: Where Are You Now?

Isle of Cumbrae in Scotland, July 2008

I just laughed when I read the beginning of today's chapter, "By this time you should be noticing old stuff/patterns/recurring blockages coming to the surface." Sound familiar? From the posts I read yesterday, I'd guess that's a yes!

And the synchronicities continue. The metaphor that Denise uses as she encourages us to simply observe what comes up is that of an eagle overhead. When I read this, I'd already prepped this wonderful picture from Maree. These aren't eagles but they are certainly flying high enough to have a beautiful perspective of what's passing below. And they are flying together - as are we.

My first link did not work right. What is that about??? Hmmm? This last 4 days has definatly stirred up some muck! But what a joy to be sharing the process with so many wonderful people!

I read "A New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle during my summer holiday and it really changed my outlook on life and how seriously I see myself. Denise strengthened my new beliefs when she wrote "..you are not your identity. Who you truly are is so much more magnificent, remarkable, and eternal." I am enjoying watching myself and my life similar to watching a film, observing without judging and curious to see what happens next.

As this journey progresses, I am discovering so many things about myself and others. The biggest realization has been - I am not alone.

Jamie - the picture in this post is so liberating. The blue of the sky, the flying birds, the freedom. I rejoice in our freedom to explore! We are blessed!

Good morning, all! Loved today's topic, it is just what I need for the day. I'm starting FT hours back at work today, planning on taking my Soul Coaching book with me to re-read at break and putting up post-it notes of affirmations on my computer monitor. I'll blog tonight about how it all went. Have a great day!

This was a roller coaster emotional day for me. My inner dialogue was very revealing, like a kick in the gut.

Aurora, I'm having trouble trying to leave a comment on your blog. I think it's to do with the particular comment format you're using in Blogger as I have found another blog with the same comment format and same problem. I type my comment, but the drop-down ID selection box doesn't work. Even if I'm already signed into Blogger and just click to Post Comment...it just sits there and does nothing. :(

I very revealing day about observing the self.

I am so glad for the affirmation for today! It is perfect for my 40th birthday! Additionally, I can not wait to watch the eagles soar over Whidbey Island, WA where I will spend the weekend. I will observe them with deeper meaning!

I'm late! I'm not sure that I did this the way Ms Linn had in mind - but I did do it.

Aurora - The comments button was not working on today's post. :)

I will post my comment here:

Very cool mitts! I admire those who can knit. I have tried. My brain just cannot process it. The art of knitting is so meditative and so productive. It gives warmth and style while feeding the soul. Beautiful! :)

I wrote my post almost a half hour ago but forgot to put the link up. xD Lol, that might help!

I read other's posts and they really helped me write my own. I connected with everyone I read in some way today I think.

I had a bit of a miserable day (if I re-word that it could be that I had a challenging day!) and it sounds like a few other people had their challenges too. I'm glad I wasn't alone.
